My Experience with Omego Holdings Finding a reliable courier service to get products from China to Sri lanka felt like a mission. Most of the ones I came across only had a facebook page. They didn't had a proper Google listing or registered company address. After digging around for a while, I narrowed it down to three companies: Ata Express Pvt Ltd, Unise Lanka Express, and Omego Holdings. 1. Price. I requested quotes from all three. Price-wise, Omego came in a bit higher—about 10% more than the others, charging Rs. 4000 per kg. Not exactly ideal but I was willing to pay a bit more if the service matched the price. 2. Customer Support. Now, let’s talk about customer support—this is where Omego really shines. Their replies were fast, helpful, and consistent. Ata was also decent in this department, but Unise was a bit slow, though they did respond eventually. For someone new to this, having a responsive point of contact makes a huge difference, and Omego nailed that. 3. Ordering Process. When it came to ordering, Omego made the process super simple. All I had to do was send my supplier the contact details of their China-side agent, Andy, and they handled everything from there. No complicated steps, no endless forms. I didn’t get far enough with Unise to comment, but Ata’s process was definitely more complicated in comparison. But here’s where things got shaky. 4. Shipping Duration. I placed my first order with Omego, expecting it to arrive in 1–2 weeks as promised. It ended up taking over 3 weeks. Their reason? New Year holidays. Maybe that was true—but I still felt a bit let down, especially after being promised to deliver the package within 2 weeks when I was placing the order. That first experience honestly left me questioning if I had made the right choice. Then came the second order. I was in a rush and didn’t have time to vet another company. And like they say, “better the devil you know than the devil you don’t.” So I went with Omego again, hoping at least they'd deliver the package. This time they charged me Rs. 18,000 for a 2.25kg package, claiming it was based on volume—not just weight. Other companies told me the same, so I guess it was fair, even if it hurt my wallet. To my surprise, the package arrived within a week, without a single issue. The whole process was smooth and quick. It made me think maybe that first delay really was just bad timing. Lesson learned—don’t judge a book by its cover (or a company by its first delivery). One thing to note: Omego doesn’t deliver to your door. They bring the package to their warehouse, and then you’ll have to arrange a courier like PickMe Flash or go pick it up yourself. That said, they’re helpful with the process and won’t leave you stranded. Oh, and one weird thing—my package was opened during shipping. I have no idea who did it, and nothing was missing, but still, it’s not a great feeling. Just something to be aware of. Final thoughts? If you're looking for a reliable, easy-to-work-with shipping partner to get goods from China and don’t mind paying a bit extra, Omego Holdings is a solid choice. I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re doing serious volume and trying to keep costs down.Posted on sharonite samuelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
